traceroute - a very useful troubleshooting tool which reveals the bottlenecks on the Internet

traceroute is a program which allows you to pinpoint the exact location where there are bottlenecks on the internet or your network. For instance, if you are finding it difficult to access a website, you can use this tool to check the gateway where the error has occurred.
