Eben Moglen on Microsoft's Caller ID Patent License

Eben Moglen -- professor of law at Columbia Law School and General Counsel for the Free Software Foundation -- said this morning that Microsoft's new spam-thwarting plan, dubbed Caller ID for E-mail, appears to be encumbered with unclear and unnecessary patent license claims.

Radvision has added 3G and WiFi features to its line of toolkits for broadband mobile wireless application development that support Linux, among other OSes. Radvision's "Ensemble" toolkits now support "all the main application protocols needed for the delivery of one-way, bidirectional, and multipoint data and multimedia content over a broadband mobile network," the company claims.

I've always been fascinated by the messages in people's email signatures. When I see a great quote somewhere, I save it and use it in my own signature. Sometimes I just make up my own quotes. But either way, no matter how great a quote may be, after awhile I get bored with it. That's why I finally decided to automate the process.
