LinuxQuestions.org is proud to announce the addition of a Linux User Group (LUG) forum. The LUG forum will allow members of Linux User Groups around the world to post announcements, attract more members, coordinate meetings and communicate with other LUGs. It also provides a resource for people who are interested in joining a local LUG, making it easier to find one in their area. Additionally, a calendar allowing LUGs to post Linux-related events is also available. The forum and calendar are available free of charge to the Linux community.

"The LUG is a fantastic part of the Linux culture and a great way to share your Linux experience with people in your area. The LUG forum is a resource that LinuxQuestions.org is proud to offer to the Linux community" said Jeremy Garcia, founder and admin of LinuxQuestions.org.

LinuxQuestions.org is a free, friendly and active Linux Community with over 100,000 members. Founded in 2000 LQ offers forums, reviews, a Linux hardware compatibility list, a wiki based Linux knowledgebase, Linux tutorials and more. They have officially recognized forums for Arch, cAos, CollegeLinux, Conectiva, DamnSmallLinux, Debian, Fedora, Libranet, LindowsOS, Linux From Scratch, Mandrake, Red Hat, Slackware and VectorLinux.
