I just pushed RapidDisk release 2.8 to the git repo. The changelog can be found here: http://rapiddisk.org/index.php?title=Changelog
The changes include a some minor code cleanup and the removal of an unused and unimplemented caching feature (write-around). I also added support for Linux kernel 3.8. Tested on 3.8-rc7.
While you can clone/pull the latest source from the official git repository (see rapiddisk.org for details), I also posted a tarball of this release to the Sourceforge project site: https://sourceforge.net/projects/rxdsk/
