EDS CONTRACTORS working for the Department for Work and Pensions have managed to break all records by engineering what experts are calling the biggest crash in computer history.

According to the Press Association, more than 80,000 civil servants have been left staring at blank screens this week, even though some of them actually knew how to turn their monitors on. It all started with a routine maintenance upgrade which bolloxed up more than 80,000 desktops and created a massive backlog of work.
