A new graphic front end to the FreeBSD Port system is now in development. The projects name is FreePort.

A new graphic front end to the FreeBSD Port system is now in development. The projects name is FreePort. For anyone that has used Synaptic the principal is the same, you will be able to install and update packeges, security updates, whole system updates and Linux programs that run on FreeBSD with a few clicks. The project is also seeking developers to help with the project, anyone interested apply through SourceForge.net.
