Mandriva Linux 2010, code name Adelie, is out!

Smart desktop comes from european research and is the first semantic desktop you can use in daily life. All your datas (mails, documents, videos, images...) are easy to manage : add tags, comments and notations. Use powerfull search tools. Your desktop is now organized for your projects, not for your applications.

Even more new tools in Mandriva Control Center: network profiles management, security policies, guest account, ...

This new version also aims to be more attractive for new users: 3 complete designs, and extra backgrounds available inside.

Mandriva Linux also integrate environments for all your needs: the two major desktops, KDE 4.3.2 and GNOME 2.28 ; LXDE for light environement ; Moblin for mobile uses.

2010 is available through live CDS (One Edition), 100% open source version (Free edition) and commercial including third party softwares and support (Powerpack edition). All these isos are hybrid, you can dump it on an USB key.
