ABLEconf 2012's keynote is "Getting Animated with Open Source" from Curtis Zinzilieta of Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS). Former RedHatter will cover Open Source contributions from WDAS and the business decisions behind those contributions.

ABLEconf is an annual business and technology Free Software conference from the Open Technology Educational Corportation. ABLEconf aims to show the Arizona business, non-profit, education and government communities that Free Software makes economic and business security sense.

"Getting Animated with Open Source" starts the day for ABLEconf on March 24th. Curtis Zinzilieta is a Principal Engineer at Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS). The former RedHat senior manager will cover Open Source contributions from WDAS. Curtis will also talk about how those contributions fit from a business perspective. A business and technology start to the day gears right into the ABLEconf perspective.

Curtis has more than 18 years of professional Open Source expertise, in which he has assisted many companies on the road to Open Source adoption. His prior stints with RedHat and Dell concentrated on customer GNU/Linux installation and tuning. Curtis will also be speaking on "Discovering Performance Possibilities in Linux".

ABLEconf once again has complimentary lunch for the conference. This year lunch is from epicurean leader, Duck and Decanter.
