The Complete Story of the Vienna Conclusions

After I first wrote about the removal of Free Software from the Vienna Conclusions and their replacement by a statement in favor of Digital Restrictions Management (DRM) in my blog under the title "The Vienna Conclusion: Sponsorship+Politics=Influence" on Wed, 16 November 2005, it found a lot of echo throughout the past two weeks. As the number of articles is becoming increasingly unparsable, PJ asked me to do a little writeup of the entire story and add a bit of background. [Ed.- So, Microsoft isn't evil.
