Google is spending some of the cash it raised from its IPO on headhunting staff to build a web browser. Staff have already been poached from Microsoft and Sun.

Needless to say, this article is vague because Google is being vague right now. I just hope they aren't trying to build another rendering engine. My guess is that it will be some sort of plugin on top of Mozilla Firefox and the "browser" really refers to an application layer on top of the already existing browser framework.
