SLAX 4.1.4 has been released, and we've done some screenshots for you. "SLAX is a small bootable CD containing the Linux operating system. It runs Linux directly from the CD without installing. The Live CD described here is based on the Slackware Linux distribution and is downloadable from this website as an ISO image. its running as root... big nono...

Well that's cuz its a live distro like knoppix. All you have to do to run in user mode is make a user account and log into that.

Knoppix and Morphix do not log to root by default .. they create a user that they log to.
