Microsoft attempts to clarify Linux patent issue

Microsoft claims that it did not warn Asian governments against Linux and was merely referring to a study done by an open-source group, but the author of the study says his report was misinterpreted.

It is interesting to have a startup Business come about to belay peoples fears of lawsuits and then have the executive director state that said protection is not really needed.

Talk about spinning things wrong for the company you are the director. Did anyone else catch this?
