No wonder you write like a bitter, disillusioned old man ^H^H^H^H^Hwith such grace and humor.
Seriously, I remember the fake LT posts mess. How can anyone with two brain cells to rub together not understand what a betrayal of trust that was? The "apology" showed he didn't get it. I hope things are going better for you now.

Thanks for the kind words. As for my state now, yes, things are indeed going better than I could ever have hoped. It wasn't easy, though. Through the tight spots there were a couple of people that started a petition to force the truth out. One of them posts here quite frequently -- DinoTrac ! So if you ever wondered why Dean and I seem to be old friends (even though we spar in the talkbacks, it's obviously jesting at any stretch), you now have part of the answer.
And there was Doc Searls :) -- Great guy. Very much a luminary in most roles, but for me, during that time, he was more.
Joe Barr -- there's a name you should recognize. Joe Barr was there too. The community was then (and is now) the strongest thing we've got going for us. I know from experience. They are more powerful than any corporate bonds could possibly forge. I hope you never have to find this out the way I did, though.
Just take my word for it :) , ok?
