You can force openSUSE to match Fedora's robust driver behaviors by purging the restricted flags
and forcing Dracut to build a comprehensive, unconstrained ramdisk.
Connecting via ssh you may procedd this way ( case of YaST installation in text mode ) :
Make sure there is no "nomodeset" and wipe it out from
$ cat /proc/cmdline
$ cat /proc/cmdline | grep nomodeset
$ sudo nano /etc/default/grub
via "sudo yast2 bootloader"
Next
$ echo 'hostonly="no"' | sudo tee /etc/dracut.conf.d/00-generic.conf
either to minimize initrd -> initrd-7.3.0-1-default
$ echo 'add_drivers+=" nouveau amdgpu radeon i915 "' | sudo tee /etc/dracut.conf.d/00-generic.conf
$ sudo cat /etc/dracut.conf.d/00-generic.conf
$ sudo dracut -f --regenerate-all
Generating an SSH public key for the root user is important when using the Agama installer
because Agama strictly requires an explicit authentication method to be defined before
it allows the installation to proceed.
Tumleweed is worth this efforts if you intend to get rid from flat-btrfs layout no mater of would
it be F45 Server or Sparky 2026.09 Linux

Agree totally, a headless or remote system is best administered over an ssh terminal connection. The "need" to do graphical access is a Windows holdover. Did you ever notice also that AI agents also prefer a terminal connection. Does that make your average AI smarter than your average windoze user?
Somehow the idea of requiring a graphical head with a graphical web browser so that you can do a "headless" install makes my head spin.
See: Install Tumbleweed via Agama Installer and automated detection of HDMI ports ( bare metal )
https://dbaxps.blogspot.com/2026/11/install-tumbleweed-via-agama-installer.html
After booting via USB pen on target box, right after you see the first screen for selection of desired OS, you are supposed to press CTRL+ALT+F3 without any other input into the first page of Agama Web UI. You would see in terminal IP-TARGET of target host and root password.
From another box launch your browser to https://IP-TARGET. This step will bring you to Agama WEB UI and prompt for root "password".
After entering WEB UI environment select OS (Tumbleweed for instance) manage as usual until creating root account. You should have SSH trusted pair already generated prior to configuring root's credentials on target box. I've selected password and SSH public key.
Cut and paste SSH Public key into corresponding field on Agama Web UI. Save and start installation which was initiated remotely from your workstation. Agama follows standard transactional schema when preparing desired disk layout, selection of DE, user's and root's credentials until you press "Install". Upon reboot installed tumbleweed instance would properly detect HDMI port and Monitor of target box. Booting up brought me to text console with resolution 1920x1080 . . . .
