System Rescue

Just curious - why do you recommend g4l over system rescue cd and partimage?
The GParted LiveCD is also an excelent tool to have around. http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=gparted
Another vote for gparted live.It just works.

First SuSE Live DVD?

10.1 is the first Live DVD OpenSuSE released? I have a copy of a 10.0 Live DVD right behind me and a search at LinuxTracker shows a 9.3 Live DVD (for Windows) that you "...can boot it in the usual way or you can 'autorun' it under Windows".

What's the distinction that makes 10.1 the first Live DVD?
you are right suse was one of the first distributions to come out with a live dvd. it was even before dvd players started shipping with computers.
