Windows vs. OS X: Stop the Silly Rivalry
I started out using a PC exclusively, and I continued to do so for around eleven years. I wasn't really a PC user by choice, because at the time, I was too young to know anything about computers except for what my parents told me and what they let me use in the house. I just knew that I could play games on that beige box, and that's all that mattered to me. Remember Day of the Tentacle? I sure do. |

Quoting:For as long as I can remember, Windows has flipped on the technical switch in my brain. There's just something about it that gets me into development mode. When I'm using that OS, I have a desire deep down in my bones to program something, analyze a technical specification, or take part in some other complicated procedure.
You're not alone, Brandon. We all want to fix it.
In the same way one fixes a dog.
Some animals have been so damaged that the most humane thing to do is put them down.
Doesn't that assume some level of potency? Does Windows really qualify?
Hmmm....Good point.

A fix is a fix, of course, of course.
I agree. Let's start comparing it to politicians instead.
Yeah, a lot of those need fixing.
Not that they aren't already. . . .
Pardon my cynicism, I'm sorry. I'm jaundiced, I guess. Watching both Microsoft and politicians twisted my psyche! :-(
