A potential flaw in the voting system:

Granted it was my error (I am good at that), however, I mistakenly hit the voting icon when I just wanted to review the votes and rationale. It overwrote my negative vote on the Story of Google developing their own browser as a positive. Moreover, it wiped out my original negative comment that was written at the time of the negative vote. See my posting of a thread made with the original vote: "It is hard to gain "market share" just by saying ...", which went into detail why I distrusted the arguments. You are correct in allowing an individual's vote to be changed, but perhaps a warning about changing the existing vote would be in order and a means to cancel. Thanks! Sorry for the problem, it's really my screwup! |
