Seriously, does this article demonstrate the language skill of the typical comic-book writer? No wonder I prefer Dark Horse comics. |

> It looks like an open letter to Marvel is in order...... Preferably one pointing out that the word Linux is trademarked. They don't seem to be aware of that minor fact. |

@jdixon: Your point is? "Linux" was mentioned by the writer in an interview with some magazine. As an analogy. It's not used anywhere in the comics themselves. |

> Your point is? Apparently none. I didn't read the article, merely the comments. |

Quoting:Zeke is a post-national business man and kind of an open source ideological terrorist... He has absolutely no loyalty to any sort of law, creed, or credo. He doesn’t want to beat Tony Stark, he wants to make him obsolete. Windows wants to be on every computer desktop in the world, but Linux and Stane want to destroy the desktop. That's from the scriptwriter, quoted in the article. (The site it originally comes from is currently unavailable.) Now, Sander, I ask: With phrases like "open source ideological terrorist" and "Windows wants to be on every computer desktop in the world, but Linux and Stane want to destroy the desktop", well, how much clearer could it be without stating outright that only bad guys use Linux? |

Oh, it's pretty clear what the author thinks (and it's laughable of course). But it's not trademark infringement :-) |
