The GNOME Project announced today the release and general availability of GNOME 48.4 as the fourth maintenance update to the latest GNOME 48 “Bengaluru” desktop environment series.

Coming a little over a month after GNOME 48.3, the GNOME 48.4 release promises to finally fix the update notification issue in the GNOME Software app, which gave me a lot of headaches in the past few months.
