Now it requires 32MB of memory! Not good for computers made before 1996. A full install with everything requires 750MB! That means you have to use a bunch of drives or get a large one that supports LBA! Was Vista an inspiration for this release? :D |

I have a circa 1992 laptop with 12 MB RAM and 72 MB hard drive. If I have time I might try installing one of these. |

I think I ran BasicLinux once from a a floppy. If you can figure it out, it's fun to play with. Another is Tom's RTBT. I think BasicLinux even has X, if I recall correctly. But if there's any way at all to bump up the RAM, by all means do it. |
