Given that many developers seem to work on both (and many of us use both), it's a nice gesture, for sure.

Congratulations to the second oldest surviving Linux distribution. :)

Debian, even with its occasional flaws, represents the best of what open source is supposed to be.

Debian is a unique project. I hope that more than a few writers see fit to chronicle its history at some point. Read about it on the Debian site: http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/project-history/
