Forcing WPA_Supplicant to not scan 802.11a?

So I have a bit of an annoyance on my laptop and on the new box we are using for the digital sign.
Namely that our network is mainly setup on b/g (however we do have A setup, but I believe we are using a diff SSID and such on it - not exactly sure).
The problem is, when the machines fire up wpa_supplicant sits trying to associate on A for quite a while before it finally goes over to B/G.
Is there a way to set the config to not look at A for a network (or at all....)?
I saw there's a frequency option, but that seems to be to force a certain channel, which wouldn't be overly useful in a place with multiple APs. Thanks! |
