Very good article overall. I have used Ubuntu but prefer Debian.
I recommend LinuxMint for newbies to Linux. ...but, Mepis pre-dates Warty Wharthog by several years. They were a Debian derivative for several years before trying an Ubuntu base; however, they are now back to a Debian base again. |
