I'm very curious......what OS is being used ??? Update: Silly me.........I just saw that BCwipe is being used.......ergo, it absolutely has to be Windows of some sort. When will they ever learn ? Sigh. 2nd update......And serves me right for not reading ALL of the BCWipe web site.......it can also be used for Unix systems.........so again, I wonder which OS is being used. |

They will report that they cannot say due to national security...which is funny because national security has been breached by using the OS they are using. There's irony there...I'm just not awake enough to snap it off. |

It's Windows. It's not a computer virus, it's a Windows virus. |

I warned them not to download their OS from Pirate Bay, the keygens will get them everytime :) |

If we're patient, we'll probably learn with OS they were using from Wikileaks. |

Well, here's the answer....... "The source added that virus "showed up on a Microsoft based Windows system. We have a closed looped system and heavily protected cockpits - the planes were never in jeopardy." http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/virus_infects_nevada_c... |

They are using Windows for mission-critical stuff? Military Intelligence is truly an oxymoron. No slam intended toward oxy's..... |

Thanks everybody for assuaging (what a lovely word) my curiousity. Windows it is then, and I return to my second statement: "When will they ever learn ?!?!?!?!" This sort of stupidity is almost reminiscent of the Brits pulling Unix based systems out of their nuclear submarines. My understanding was that they believed that the Windows replacement was supposed to be just as if not more secure than the Unix systems that were dumped.....Shortly afterwards they had viruses spreading via usb keys. I know that no computer system can be considered 100% secure, but I think a Unix/Linux OS always makes a better fist of it than a Windows OS........ |

Quoting:When will they ever learn ?!?!?!?! MS is going full ahead implementing UEFI in Windows 8 before their customers begin to mature up. MS isn't worried about their customers complaining, they know their customers better than anyone else. |
