Ah, the joys of "clicking" rather than typing in the URL. Thanks, TC. I've seen the title as 'Linux Devices', never noticed the "for" be-for. Why, no, officer, I've never done drugs. :^) Trust you to know what's actually happening. |

Maybe I hallucinated it. But I used to post a lot of Linux Devices stories on LT, and I'm pretty sure it was linuxfordevices.com. At any rate I wish it had been adopted by good parents. |

I believe TC to be correct. I recall it always being Linux For Devices. |

Everyone is right. LinuxDevices.com re-directs to LinuxforDevices.com, and has since before I surfed there for the first time some 7 some odd years ago now. The 'brand' is Linux For Devices like Tracy says, but for my part LinuxDevices .com rolls off the tongue a lot smoother than Linux-FOR-Devices .com. |

Speaking of "Other News" redirects... The linux.org.uk link currently redirects to linux.com. Time, methinks, for a check with Alan Cox as to whether this state of affairs is permanent, and maybe some editing in said sidebar. |

At some point they changed from http://linuxdevices.com to http://linuxfordevices.com. I have no idea why. |
