Does anyone know what happened to pastie.org?

I'm/was a pastie.org user but a couple of weeks ago pastie.org disappeared into nowhere. The blog is still there and the twitter account too, but no messages as to why the actual pastie.org web site has disappeared. Also google searches for 'pastie.org down' return nothing recent. It's as if nobody cares that pastie.org is gone, which seems strange since I know it was very popular among programmers and other geeks (like myself). Yes I know there are many alternatives, but I'm just curious to find out why pastie.org disappeared, and also I haven't yet found and alternative that's as straightforward to use and offers the same features as pastie.org. |
