URD is a program to download binaries from usenet (newsgroups) through a web interface.While some other programs offer similar services (e.g. Ninan, Sabnzbd), URD doesn’t need external NZB files to function. This is a OS I have been working on since Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2. I thought it’s about time I released it and get some criticism on it.There isn’t any 32-bit version as most people should have a 64-bit processors as they have been around for for a few years now. The main reason for going with 64-bit is because it’s faster then 32-bit on the same hardware and there aren’t many programs now that don’t run on 64-bit.Ubuntu maybe easy to use but not all of the programs for it are, so all I did was listen to what people wanted and found the most user friendly programs for the task.
