We are delighted to say that Europe consistently shows GNU/Linux growth, and it is not limited to something locked down such as ChromeOS (better than Windows, but not a path towards true digital freedom).

Not only does Windows go down (both share and revenue). GNU/Linux is among the main gainers if not the sole gainer.

Looking at another high-profile data source, and one which is independent from statCounter, this survey that goes back over 20 years shows GNU/Linux rising from 3.9% in November to 4.0% (year's end), so we're seeing similar numbers. We add screenshots below.

Putting aside the growing share of GNU/Linux, Android is already quite vast. No wonder revenues associated with Windows are down so sharply, based on Microsoft.

Don't try to teach Microsoft to "love" GNU/Linux. It'll never happen. At best it'll act "coy" while attacking you from the inside, usually behind your back.

This "gish gallop" of FUD is already tiring. Responding to it each time is a time-consuming exercise, but let's have a go at it. Someone should.
