Today, Croatian goverment specified how to handle open source in government offices, ministries and agencies. Document is called Open source policy and it gives good push to open source implementation in government bodies. You can read press release or document itself (it's on Croatian, but you can use free online translator to read). It's big day for Croatian LUG and all open source advocates in Croatia!

On wednesday, Croatian LUG (HULK) will celebrate 10th anniversary of existance. Event will take place at Boogalo in Zagreb and it will start in 20:00, 19th of April. Specially for this event, LUG engaged DJ Pytzek who will play EGOBOO.bits and other music from artists who publish their work under Creative Commons license. Event is organized during DORS/CLUC conference (you can still sign in for the conference), so you can meet some conference speakers too. Celebration event is open to everyone, so if you are near Zagreb, don't miss this opportunity to get free beer (free as a beer ;) ).
