Slopwatch will be relatively long for the simple reason that we found a lot of new LLM slop about "Linux".

So a Microsoft employee now boasts that they're making Git - not GitHub - dependent on Rust, which Microsoft controls in GitHub. We already saw the trouble this causes in Linux and very much foresaw it (LibreOffice is also targeted).

So here too we can ask, who except Garrett and the Serial Strangler from Microsoft funds the abuse against us (abuse of process) and why? Garrett has already admitted out in the open that there is a third party.

Many inappropriate behaviours against us (for merely talking about UEFI 'secure boot') are being reported and relayed to the British authorities (including as recently as 5 hours ago) and we shall continue writing about the subject, no matter how many threats we receive. Or how many get sent to my wife, too. While she's on holiday and mourning death in her family.

Complex systems are bound to have holes and in Microsoft's case bug/back doors are the actual objective. Screwing around with GNU/Linux (while pretending to "love Linux") is another objective.

Today it is our last part before September 11. Some people won't immediately notice the effect because many GNU/Linux users don't boot every day or several times per day.

Restricted Boot (so-called 'SecureBoot') does not improve security. It is nothing but trouble. It's meant to trouble non-Windows users. In dual-boot setups, SecureBoot is a recipe for disaster because Microsoft keeps erasing or tampering with the boot sector, to paraphrase an associate

The real solution is, disable "secure boot" or "SecureBoot" while it's still possible. [...] Just like submarine patents, a lot of this problem was "hibernating" for a while

Slopfarms are drowning out not only Google and legitimate sites. They also infest Google News, which was supposed to be curated or filtered for quality, originality etc.

They also exhaust our water and energy supplies

Google plays an active role (if not deliberately then through utter neglect and carelessness) in plagiarism

Google says it's committed to "AI" (it means slop, not AI); that seems like an excuse to dodge accountability

These people don't try to improve security but to undermine security. Those are people who mock the legal process and fail to meet Orders from Judges at the High Court. In other words, they don't care what's legal and flout legal obligations.
