According to Tech Web and some other on-line publications, "For the second time in three months, Firefox's share of the browser market slipped, a Web site analysis company said Monday."

I don't believe a word of it.

The logic seems faulty. How is Microsoft growing their Internet Browser business? Are people downloading Internet Exploder on Windows desktops finally? Afterall, think about all those Windows 3.1 systems that didn't have browsers before now.

Wait, I think I understand the isssue. Netscape is growing again. People have started replacing Firefox with Netscape 8 because it looks like one of the 2003 Office applications. Forgive me.

Of course, Yahoo has put a skin over IE and now call it the Yahoo Browser. That could figure into the calculations. Instead of just having one instance, people could have two instances of Internet Explorer. Now, that makes sense.

Here's the link to the article if you'd like to read some mindless Tech Web Microsoft speak.
