But all that high-end features and higher-end price tag means this is not one Chromebook I’m going to buy just to see if I can install my favorite Linux distribution on it.

Scientific Linux 6.3 Samba Standalone Server With tdbsam Backend

This tutorial explains the installation of a Samba fileserver on Scientific Linux 6.3 and how to configure it to share files over the SMB protocol as well as how to add users.
