PCMan, Specto Reviewed for Linux

It’s rare these days that any one program gets me really excited, as I always feel like I have seen it all. Today, however, I believe I have come upon software concepts that have a lot of potential. Both are very different from one another, yet each is very strong in function in their own way.

Not all file managers are created equal. And despite being very happy with Nautilus and tolerant of the "over-featured" (for me, anyway) Konqueror, I had to admit that not being able to tab my open windows on Ubuntu was a hassle. That and on older machines, even Nautilus was a bit slow. Enter PCMan . With a location bar setup by default, tabbed browsing of my files and two additional tabs from which to view my files, I would like to see something like PCMan become a strong alternative to Nautilus.
