USA Today and other major media outlets are starting to suggest that Windows 7 — the successor to Windows Vista — could arrive in time for Christmas 2009. Frankly, that sounds like a holiday nightmare to The VAR Guy.

My prediction is that Christmas 2009 will be the one that will make the saying 'broken by Boxing day' sound more cogent ever!

What's the current average time for a new LoseDoze box to get PWN3D on the 'net? Ten minutes? Whatever it is, it's still less than the time it takes to download all the security updates.

@gus: Last I heard about was a mean time of four minutes. That's mean time, so often it happens even sooner.
