Creating your First BlackBerry Project

In this article you will create a new project from scratch. This article demonstrates how you accomplish this using Eclipse and the various wizards that are available within it. It also demonstrates how you can create a simple, but complete application quickly using the User Interface (UI) elements provided by the framework. We will create a simple standalone application to calculate the tip of a bill at a restaurant. The initial application will be very simple and will be like the first step on a project. As you progress through the rest of this article the application will grow and become more robust.
