Conky is a free, light-weight system monitor for X, that displays any information on your desktop.

A while back we told you about a really easy way to configure Conky using a GUI called ConkyWizard - which is very nice, but it doesn't come with plugins and too many options. Conky Colors on the other hand doesn't come with a GUI but is just as easy to set up (from the command line) and it comes with A LOT of options and scripts (from Gmail to Rhythmbox, weather and more) so you can create an amazing looking Conky in a matter of seconds (don't let our long guide fool you - you just have to install a few packages and run Conky Colors).

I might be a little more inclined to help, were it not for the spam link.

You might not think it's spam, but on this board, it's spam.
Really, gus3? So having a footer that links to your own personal site is spam? Or am I missing something here? :/
It's one thing to link to one's own site. I've done that, I've even submitted my own articles to LXer, when I had something to say that related to Linux/FOSS.

The link in the first comment appears to be nothing more than an attempt to boost a Google page rank.
