Magnolia International has officially announced Magnolia Conference 2012, the annual gathering of the Magnolia CMS community, and has opened its call for papers for the event.
Magnolia Conference 2012 will take place in Basel, Switzerland, from September 4th to 5th, at the modern Basel University Hospital, in the centre of the city. The event is open to existing Magnolia partners and Magnolia CMS users, as well as those interested in finding out more about the open source Java content management system from its end-user and partner community.
Those interested in attending can find out more and register at:

Magnolia has also opened its call for papers in both the business and technical tracks. The business track is focused on showcasing case studies of successful international projects, while the technical track is an opportunity to demonstrate how companies are integrating, implementing and building new Magnolia projects and modules.
Papers should focus on completed projects rather than intended projects. Wherever appropriate, concrete implementation benchmarks or results should be included. Submissions will be judged on originality, technical strength, relevance, and audience interest.
All proposals should be submitted by July 1st, 2012 and speakers will be notified of acceptance by July 12th, 2012. Speakers will receive complimentary entry to the conference and all social events.
