Ubuntu has developed itself out of the hearts and minds of many users, myself included. So, what do I do now?

In which I discuss why I'm not going to continue installing and upgrading Ubuntu and ask the Linux Community to help me decide which distro and which desktop to install on three very different pieces of hardware.
