EMC Says Pivotal, Open Source Start-up, Will Go Public

Pivotal, the EMC and VMware spin-out, will eventually pursue an Initial Public Offering (IPO), according to EMC CEO Joe Tucci's Oracle OpenWorld 2013 Keynote.
