"Building upon our successful experience at SUSECon last year, LPI is
pleased to be a silver sponsor of this year's event. The global demand
for IT professionals with proven skills in Linux and Open Source
Software is growing and has even accelerated as these skills are
fundamental to the rapidly developing technology environments of Cloud

attendees to earn the certifications that demonstrate those skills at no
cost while also participating in any number of state-of-the-art
educational sessions," said Jim Lacey, president and CEO of LPI. Mr.
Lacey added that exam candidates that successfully complete both exams
(LPI-101 and LPI-102) of the LPIC-1 certification are also automatically
eligible to receive their SUSE CLA certification.
