Survey finds companies want a kinder, gentler, more engaged IT department

While it seems clear enough that that the role of IT is changing, it's always nice to have some actual data to back that up, and a new survey by Avanade found that expectations about IT really are changing and that's having a huge impact on IT 's role inside organizations.
