Cloud hosting provider Linode has relaunched its services with a $45M investment in SSD storage, more memory, better CPUs and other high-performance upgrades for its cloud infrastructure.

Are SSD storage, gobs of memory and more CPU power enough for a smaller player in the cloud computing industry to unseat the likes of Rackspace (RAX) and Amazon Web Services?
