MapR, in collaboration with Databricks, is integrating the open source Apache Spark and Apache Drill tools to make big data analysis and processing faster and simpler.

Big data vendor MapR is ntegrating Apache Drill with Apache Spark, a move that should make it possible to process diverse data sources more quickly.
