This new version adds support for six new applications and 20 apps with updated versions. The new applications are Exaile, Yarock, GNOME Commander (Trusty), SimpleAudioPlayer, Kid3 and Fotoxx (DEB).

Other changes in this release include a fixed installer for Calibre, better error handling and two command-line arguments, –help and –version.

UbuTricks is a Zenity-based, graphical script with a simple interface that helps you install the latest versions of several games and applications in Ubuntu. Currently Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10 are supported, and a total of 60 applications with newer versions than in the repositories are available to install.
