The developers of the Tails GNU/Linux operating system, the amnesic incognito live system used by Edward Snowden to stay invisible online at all times, announced the release of Tails 1.6.

Tails 1.6 is a small maintenance release that updates tht Tor Browser anonymous web browser software based on the Tor Project and Mozilla Firefox 38.3.0 ESR (Extended Support Release) to version 5.0.3.
Addititionally, it updates the I2P (Invisible Internet Project) anonymous peer-to-peer distributed communication layer to version 0.9.22, as well as to enable its AppArmor profile. Full Story |
