India's First Ubuntu Hackathon Offers an Ubuntu Dell Laptop, BQ Aquaris E5 HD Phones

Canonical announced that the next Ubuntu Hackathon event will take place next week in Bangalore, the capital of India's southern Karnataka state, between October 15-16, 2015.

Ubuntu Hackathon has four award cateogories, the Most Innovative Award, Best Group Award, Best Rookie Award, and IoT Special Prize. The winner of the first category will get a 20,000 INR ($300) Snapdeal voucher, an Ubuntu Dell laptop, and a BQ Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition smartphone.
