As we reported last week, the final Beta of the upcoming Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system was announced, which also included the Beta 2 builds for several official flavors.

The truth is that there are no significant changes in the Lubuntu 16.04 LTS Beta 2 and Xubuntu 16.04 LTS Beta 2 releases, with the exception of the fact that both are now powered by Linux kernel 4.4.6 LTS. While Xubuntu no longer ships with a default media manager installed, Lubuntu stays with the LXDE desktop environment. Full Story |
