Allan McRae made a brief announcement at the end of last week to inform users of the acclaimed GNU/Linux operating system about some important changes in the default package manager.
He urges all users of the Arch Linux operating system to update their systems, in particular, the Pacman package manager, to the latest available version (e.g. 5.0.1 at the moment of writing this article), before the date of April 23, 2016, due to the implementation of transactional hooks in Pacman 5.0. So, you have less than one month to update your Arch Linux system.
