Torvalds exchanged lively banter with Hohndel on a wide variety of topics ranging from the recent Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities, the state of hardware performance, the Linux development process and the future of Linux, without Torvalds.
"What I really worry about is the flow of patches and the workflow is more important than the code," Torvalds said. "If you have the right worklfow, code will sort itself out and if a bug happens, we know how to deal with it." Full Story |
