When using modern monitoring solutions, we often want to be alerted when something goes wrong in our infrastructure. We may want to receive an email if one of our hosts goes down. Or we may want to receive a message on our team Slack if HTTPS certificates are about to expire for example. In your monitoring infrastructure, setting up custom alerts is crucial.
